Originally from Bahrain, her culinary journey took her from the Middle East to Hawaii in 2003, where she perfected her family's recipes and dreamt of owning a bakery. Three years ago, she made Stafford her home and became the proud owner of Suad's Majles.

In Hawaii, Suad started In the Jar by Suad in 2015, specializing in cheesecakes for private and pop-up events. Her baked goods, like basbousas and saffron cakes, are inspired by her grandma's recipes. Suad is passionate about supporting local businesses and has found a welcoming community in Fredericksburg.
